USREM Securities, LLC (“USREM,” “we,” “us”) is committed to making its website and digital disclosures usable by the widest possible range of people, including those who rely on assistive technology. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 Level AA explains how to make web content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for people with disabilities.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time milestone. This statement describes the steps we have taken, the limitations we are aware of and are actively remediating, and how to reach us if you encounter a barrier. It does not represent a guarantee that every page or document is fully conformant at all times.
This statement applies to the public web pages and online disclosures published by USREM Securities, LLC at our primary website and its disclosure pages (for example, the pages reached from the “Disclosures” index).
This statement does not cover: (a) content, applications, or documents provided by third parties or hosted on platforms we do not control; (b) embedded or linked services operated by service providers (for example, identity-verification or document-signing tools); and (c) archived materials or downloadable files that may not yet meet the standard described above. Where third-party tools are essential to a transaction, we work with those providers to improve accessibility but cannot warrant their conformance.
We take the following measures, among others, to support accessibility across our disclosure and informational pages:
Semantic structure. Pages use a single page-level heading, sequential section headings, list markup, and labeled landmark regions so that screen readers and other assistive technology can navigate the document by heading and section.
Text contrast. We are revising body and legal text styling so that text meets the WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text) against its background. See “Known Limitations” below for items still being corrected.
Scalable, resizable type. Text is intended to remain readable when users zoom or enlarge text and is intended to remain readable when users zoom to 200% or increase their browser or operating-system font size, without loss of content or function.
Keyboard navigation. Interactive elements, including in-page section links and the table of contents, are intended to be reachable and operable using a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
Actionable contact links. Telephone numbers are being marked up as “tel:” links and email addresses as “mailto:” links so they can be activated directly on touch and assistive devices rather than read as plain text. See “Known Limitations” below for telephone numbers still being converted.
Graceful degradation. Disclosure pages are built so that their full text remains readable when JavaScript is unavailable and when printed; interactive aids such as the scroll-tracking table of contents are enhancements layered on top of, not required for, access to the underlying content.
We are aware of the following limitations and are actively working to remediate them. We disclose them here in the interest of transparency:
Low-contrast secondary labels and thin legal type. Some secondary labels (eyebrows, captions, table-of-contents numbers, and date stamps) are rendered in a muted grey that does not meet the WCAG 2.1 AA contrast minimum, and some legal text is rendered in a thin (300) weight. (The primary legal body text itself meets AA at approximately 5.8:1.) We are increasing weight and contrast for this text.
Color-only affordances. Certain links and table-of-contents items are distinguished primarily by color (for example, an active-section highlight) without an additional non-color cue such as an underline or marker. We are adding non-color indicators so these affordances do not rely on color perception alone.
JavaScript-dependent table of contents. The in-page table of contents and its active-section tracking currently require JavaScript. The full disclosure text remains available without it, but the navigation aid does not; we are working to make in-page navigation function without scripting.
Non-actionable phone numbers. Some telephone numbers are presented as plain text rather than as activatable links. We are converting them to “tel:” links so they can be dialed directly.
We prioritize fixes that affect the ability to read disclosures and complete required tasks. Because remediation is ongoing, this list may change; we do not commit here to a specific completion date for any individual item.
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website and disclosures. If you encounter a barrier, need a disclosure or other content provided in an accessible format, or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us and describe the page or document and the difficulty you experienced:
We try to respond to accessibility feedback promptly. When you report a barrier, please include the web address (URL) of the page, a description of the problem, and the assistive technology or browser you were using, so we can reproduce and address the issue.
